After my weight loss from 240lbs to 155lbs I still looked like I needed to lose weight until one day someone said, "Maybe its just loose skin, ever consider removing it?" I had no idea then that I was supposed to or even how to interview surgeons. Per a referral only I went to one surgeon. Who informed me I had a hernia and lots of loose skin. Unaware of other options, I agreed to a $10,000 surgery. After several months my belly button wouldn't heal and mind you I only gained 5lbs after surgery. Upon my follow up the surgeon said... "I can't stop you from putting food in your mouth." As time went on... my skin still didn't feel apart of my body and my belly button wasn't healing.

One day on the radio there was an ad about nonsurgical skin tightening. I was impressed with the results but it didn't solve the issue. Before I could continue with treatments my friend and I were t-boned at approx. 45mph, received a severe concussion and ended up moving back to Michigan. The aftermath of that crash created a set back to resolving the disconnect with my skin that was still there. I started researching nonsurgical options until I was blue in the face, not literally, lol. What I found with this technology was so amazing that I decided to change my whole career path!

On this new journey, while at a nonsurgical body contouring conference I happened to sit next to the Head of Plastic Surgery for a Michigan hospital. Taking the opportunity to engage in conversation I asked for answers I wasn't able to find with my current educational courses. He was patient, detailed, kind and even drew on a napkin examples to ensure I understood. Right then I also learned the questions I should have been asking to find a good surgeon. Who after the second surgery, informed me the original surgeon left 3lbs of skin on my body and tacked my skin in place instead of quilting.

With my education in massage therapy (anatomy/physiology), a business degree, obtaining my Esthetician license, I also worked for a Med Spa in Michigan for 2 years, worked my way up to open their 3rd location. This journey was revealing itself as my passion. My passion to thoroughly research and understand nonsurgical body contouring. I did open my own Salon & Spa, that I sold, to move back to Colorado and opened a new location in October 2019. With my knowledge and experience I quickly gained word of mouth referrals and with gratitude survived 2020 where I am still growing.
